3D-Printed and Laser-Cut Chess Set
A custom chess set developed through 3D modelling, iterative printing, and laser-cut fabrication.
I designed and fabricated a custom chess set from October 2023 to February 2024, combining digital modelling with additive and subtractive manufacturing.
Process
- Modelled custom chess pieces in Shapr3D and Blender.
- Manufactured and tested prototypes with 3D printing.
- Designed a personalized chessboard in Inkscape and fabricated it with laser cutting tools.
- Refined geometry and print settings to improve dimensional accuracy and structural stability.
